Terms and Cancellation Policy

These are the Terms and Conditions that will apply to your purchase of any of our Make Peace With Food programs and/or coaching. Please read them carefully as you will be bound by them.

These Terms shall constitute the entire agreement between Make Peace With Food (also operating as RVFG LLC), and the Client relating to the subject matter herein, and shall constitute a binding agreement. There is no verbal or written; representation, warranty, prior agreement, or description of services, other than as expressed herein.

The contract is made with, and services will be provided by Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC. By Purchasing a Program and/or coaching, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions that govern the relationship, the cancellation policy and limitations of liability. These Terms and Conditions affect your rights and designate the governing law and forum for the resolution of any and all disputes.

 

PROGRAM/COURSE ENROLLMENT & THE CONTRACT

All persons wishing to enroll in any Make Peace With Food program/course or coaching have carefully read and understand the Terms and Conditions that follow. By purchasing and enrolling with Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC, you accept on behalf of yourself to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. An enrollment is accepted and becomes definite only from the date when Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC sends a confirmation email, and when you have completed the full payment, or first payment of a payment plan.

A Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC team member will contact you within 48 hours, regarding your completed registration to confirm your participation in your selected Program. 

**Please note that Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC only offers programs and related activities to those 18 years of age and over.

If, within the duration of the 6 month Make Peace with FoodTM Program, you do not make any progress towards overcoming unwanted eating behaviors, you may qualify for our 100% Money Back Guarantee. In order to qualify for the Guarantee you must have completed the following actions within the duration of the 6 month Program:

• Completed every video in the Make Peace With FoodTM program.
• Completed all assignments and quizzes in the Make Peace With FoodTM Kajabi-hosted online course.
• Completed all assignments in the Make Peace With FoodTM course workbook.
• Attended live or watched recordings of weekly Q&A and coaching sessions in the Make Peace With FoodTM Community. If watching the recordings, attendance is ensured through comments, questions and feedback specific to the recording in the Make Peace with FoodTM Kajabi Community.
• Engaged in the Make Peace With Food Community.
• Reached out for assistance or support from Sherry Shaban and/or supporting Staff during the initial 6 month duration of the program in the event that challenges, difficulties, and/or other concerns impacting progress arise.
• You can request to activate the Guarantee by emailing [email protected]. You must make this request at least 1-day before your end date or the Guarantee is void.

If, having completed all the steps above and after the 6 month period, you have not reduced and/or eliminated unwanted eating behavior, you can request a 100% refund of your payment for the Make Peace With FoodTM Program.

Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC will fully review your efforts and will need access to view any materials deemed necessary to establish your adherence to the program. In the event that you have followed the steps within the program as listed above, have not made any progress in regards to overcoming unwanted eating behaviors, and are still feeling completely out of control around food, we (Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC) will refund your payment for the Make Peace With FoodTM program in full.

 

REFUND / CANCELLATION

We understand that unexpected events can arise that can affect your plans.

However, before requesting cancellation approval for GOLD and PLATINUM packages, the reason for cancellation must first be approved by Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC.

All monthly subscription based membership payments are non-refundable, non-credible and non-transferrable. However, monthly subscription based memberships can be canceled at any time, and no further payments will be processed. 

PRICING

All prices shown are quoted and payable in USD.

Payment Options for Make Peace with FoodTM Gold (Course Only): Option 1- The fee for these services is $4,997 USD in single payment.

Option 2 – The fee for these services is $1,000 USD per month for 5 months ($5,000 USD in total). The monthly fee for our services are invoiced and paid in advance of service.

You hereby authorize Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC to collect the Program cost outlined above with the first payment being due on the date of enrolment in the Program.

Payments are due in full on the due date. If payment fails, Client must remedy this situation and provide a valid form of payment within three (3) business days or Client may be removed from the program.

Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC is not responsible for any fees incurred due to currency exchange or fees charged by your credit card/bank for processing funds in another currency.

Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC reserves the right to alter the prices of any of the products or services shown on our website.  You will be advised of the current price of the program and/or coaching you wish to enroll in before your contract is confirmed.

 

MEDICAL CONDITIONS & SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

The Client must inform Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC of any medical conditions, pregnancy, disability or any other mental and or physical condition which may affect ability to participate in our programs, including medications you are currently taking. 

It is absolutely vital that you are accurate with your health/fitness level and medical conditions for your own safety.

Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC will do its best to meet special requests, but such requests may not always be possible depending on the program, in which case Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC reserves the right to refuse Clients with certain conditions.

 

CLAIMS & COMPLAINTS

If a Client has a complaint against Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC, the Client must first inform a Make Peace With Food team member at the earliest opportunity to allow the grievance to be rectified. If satisfaction is not reached, contact the Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC Chief of Operations so that Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC is provided the opportunity to rectify the matter. Failure to indicate dissatisfaction will result in the Client’s ability to claim compensation from Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC being extinguished or at least reduced. 

 

SEVERABILITY

In the event that any term or condition contained herein is unenforceable or void by operation of law or as being against public policy or for any other reason than such term or condition shall be deemed to be severed from this Agreement or amended accordingly only to such extent necessary to allow all remaining Terms and Conditions to survive and continue as binding.

 

SUCCESSORS & ASSIGNS

These Terms and Conditions shall insure to the benefit of and be binding upon Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC and the Client and their respective heirs, legal personal representatives, successors and assigns.

Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC exist under, and is pursuant to, the laws of the State of Michigan, United States.

 

APPLICABLE LAW

The Contract and these Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of the State of Michigan, United States.

 

UPDATING OF TERMS & CONDITIONS

Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC reserves the right to update and/or alter these terms and conditions at any time, and it is the Client’s responsibility to be familiar with them. The latest terms and conditions may be found on Make Peace With Food/RVFG LLC website.
